Hi Cat! Congratulations on winning the Independent Retailer award at the Pride of Reading awards – that’s fantastic, and well-deserved for all the hard work you put into the shop!
The Tabletop Takeover sounds like a wonderful event, and I’m really excited about the variety of games you’ll have available. I especially look forward to trying out the Dungeons & Dragons taster sessions; I’ve always wanted to dive into that world!
Just to clarify, are there any age restrictions for the event, or is it open to everyone? Also, will there be any refreshments available for attendees? Looking forward to hearing more!
See you on November 16th!
What an exciting event, Cat! It’s great to see such enthusiasm for tabletop gaming in the Wokingham community. The variety of games you’re offering promises something for everyone—whether seasoned players or newcomers discovering the joys of board gaming. I’m particularly interested in the Dungeons & Dragons taster sessions; they’re a fantastic gateway for people to explore role-playing games in a fun and supportive setting.
Additionally, for those who might be new to the scene, I wonder if you could share some tips on how to choose the right game to start with or any strategies for groups to enhance their gaming experience? It would be beneficial for attendees to hear your insights!
Lastly, congratulations on winning the Independent Retailer award! It reflects your hard work and dedication to the community. Can’t wait for November 16th!
What an exciting event, Cat! It’s wonderful to see Eclectic Games bringing the community together through tabletop gaming. I think it’s particularly great that you’re offering Dungeons & Dragons Taster Sessions; many people might be curious about RPGs but feel intimidated to dive in. Perhaps you could also consider inviting some local game designers to showcase their creations at future events, as it would foster creativity and innovation within the community. Looking forward to November 16th and hoping to see a vibrant mix of new and seasoned gamers come together!
