Another Inquiry About Tilehurst (Rannoch Street & Arbroath Road)

Hello everyone,

I hope you don’t mind another question about the area! I’ve been searching for a property for the past month, and it’s been quite challenging. I’ve also looked in Caversham, Woodley, and Earley but haven’t had any luck. West Reading has more options, but I’m unsure about the safety of the location.

I came across two properties on Rannoch Street and Arbroath Road. Can anyone share their thoughts on whether that area is considered rough? I know that Dee Road has a negative reputation, but I’m unsure how far I should stay away from it.

I understand that the northwest part of Tilehurst is preferable, but there doesn’t seem to be anything available there at the moment.

In short, I’d love to hear opinions about the neighborhood around Rannoch Street and Arbroath Road. Thank you!
