Seeking New Friends
Hi everyone! I recently relocated to Newbury from Oxfordshire, although I’ve been living abroad in Canada for the past 2.5 years. I know it might seem a bit awkward to post this, but I genuinely miss connecting with others.
At 36 and embracing a frugal, minimalist lifestyle, I’m looking to meet new people to spend time with. I enjoy hanging out at cafes, having picnics, watching movies, and expressing my creativity through art and painting. Traveling and trying new experiences also excite me, but I should mention that I’m not into sports or drinking alcohol. I work for myself and live close to the town center.
Having recently come out of a long-term relationship, I’m feeling a bit vulnerable, especially after the challenges of the past couple of years with Covid. I’m only interested in platonic friendships and would love to meet anyone, regardless of age, who can hold a good conversation and enjoys a sense of humor. Bonus points if you’re also an expat!
