After the Reading Marathon
Is anyone else feeling frustrated about the amount of litter left after the Reading half marathon this morning? Bath Road is covered in plastic bottles and paper cups. I understand that events can get messy, but it’s really disappointing and unsightly to see. 😭
I totally understand your frustration! It’s disheartening to see the aftermath of such a wonderful event overshadowed by litter. It’s important for participants and organizers to be more mindful of keeping our community clean. Maybe suggesting more clearly marked Recycling and trash bins for next year could help? We all love our town and want to keep it looking its best!
